Announcing Neighborly 2.0 Website Launch

In case you missed the announcement from Lisa Zoellner, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for Neighborly®, we launched GetNeighborly.com version 2.0 last month. Check out the great new features on the site and take the next steps outlined at the end of her message. This will help ensure all of your locations are represented properly, and help you familiarize yourself with your customers’ experience on GetNeighborly.com.

We shared with you at Reunion that some exciting changes were underway for our Neighborly websites. I’m excited to announce that GetNeighborly.com version 2.0 is now live! GetNeighbourly.ca will follow in early 2019.

Highlights of New Website

The enhanced customer experience now includes these exciting new features:

  • Natural language search functionality – Instead of a dropdown menu with limited options, customers can now search for services using everyday language - just like on Google. This will make the user experience much more intuitive and should positively impact our conversion rate on the site.

  • Increased lead conversion opportunities – Whether site visitors are on the blog, a local pro page, or one of our other landing pages, they’ll have the chance to request an appointment at every relevant touchpoint.

  • Multiple provider options – Sometimes, customers search for “non-core” services that are provided by multiple brands in a given zip code. A non-core service could be defined as a service category that isn’t specifically reserved for a brand in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). One example is holiday lighting. In this case, search results will list all available franchisees based on Net Promoter Score (NPS) order, i.e. the highest score at the top of the results.

  • Real Property Management (RPM) access – Consumers who may be looking for property management services can click on this feature and connect with RPM franchisees.

  • Popular services – From appliance repair to snow removal, and everything in between, we’ve included the top service categories that our data tells us consumers are searching for. Customers can read more about a service and quickly request an appointment with a local pro by inputting their zip code. This content will also help to improve our relevance to search engines.

  • Brand pages – Landing pages that describe our service brands have been added to the website. Much like popular services pages, customers can reach a local franchisee right away after inputting a zip code.

  • Pro page enhancements – Local pro pages now offer more details about individual franchisees. We’ve added areas served, details about additional services, and enhanced snapshots of customer reviews.

  • Blog page updates – Every blog on our website is now mapped to a service brand or category, which enables us to share inspirational ideas where it makes sense. For example, if a customer is looking at a landing page about landscaping services, they’ll also be able to view a blog about outdoor home improvement ideas. This feature increases customer engagement on our site, enables multi-brand offerings, and strengthens search engine  performance.

  • Stronger branding – Stronger language about what makes us different from other service providers and lead aggregator sites is now on the website. Site guests will walk through a curated experience that emphasizes the benefits of our network of Neighborly home service brands.

Launching the new GetNeighborly.com site is a huge milestone, and we’re pleased to share this great news with you! We now have a more robust consumer experience that we can use to leverage awareness tactics, better represent franchisees across the Neighborly system, and increase those high value multi-brand leads.
