The aftermath of Hurricane Harvey continues to pound areas of Texas, Louisiana and other parts of the Gulf Coast. Many of these areas have been declared disaster areas by the federal government. Small Business Administration's Disaster Loan Program
Once an area is declared a disaster area, the federal agency known as the Small Business Administration (SBA.gov) is able to provide low-interest disaster loans to businesses of all sizes (as well as home owners and renters).
SBA disaster loans can be used to repair or replace the following items damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster: real estate, personal property, machinery, equipment, inventory and business assets. To learn more or to apply for a Disaster Loan visit: https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/

Grateful to Give Support to Hurricane Harvey Victims
Darren Wing of The Grounds Guys of Cedar Park & Georgetown and his father-in-law delivered 15,000 lbs. of bottled water to a Hurricane Harvey relief shelter in Conroe, Texas on August 30. Wing worked with fellow Neighborly Franchisee Harry Young, who owns Molly Maid of Greater Austin and other local businesses to purchase and pick up the water on pallets from Wal-Mart.
"In my time serving in the Army overseas, I saw a lot of different struggles and always wanted to do as much as possible to help. That same mentality led me to get this operation moving,” Wing said. “I didn’t have a boat, but have a truck and a trailer so my father-in-law and I loaded up to make the three-hour drive from Georgetown.”
Wing said he wasn’t sure how close to the shelter they would be able to get, but was grateful to make it to their local connection, a pastor working to gather supplies in a warehouse. He said relief efforts are sprawling outside of Houston and into neighboring Austin and the metroplex.
“If you’ve got a truck and a trailer – the evacuees need supplies and so do the first responders, who are working around the clock,” Wing said. “We’re hoping to make a second delivery if we can.
