Top 4 Ways to Complement the National Marketing Plan

The 2019 The Grounds Guys’ Marketing Calendar was created to illustrate our national strategies supported by the MAP Fund, while outlining the brand plan. This article shares the national calendar and provides recommendations for owners to complement the strategy in your local markets.

Our busiest season of the year is right around the corner, and I know there is a lot on your plate! The good news is: the MAP Fund is hard at work for you and your business! View and download the 2019 U.S. Marketing Calendar (the Canadian version will be completed soon and will be posted on FranConnect and added to the February e-news). As you can see, a lot of new campaigns and projects are already underway on behalf of all The Grounds Guys’ businesses.

Here are four simple ways to complement the national brand plan while generating quality leads and building brand awareness in your local market:

1. Input lead forms and accurate email addresses into GGPro.

As of now, your web leads come through via email. It is CRUCIAL to input that lead immediately into GGPro for many reasons. Regarding marketing, it is just as important for you to do this and follow the lead to client and then completed sale. Make sure to choose the lead source from the pre-populated drop-down menu in GGPro.  If we don’t have this data, we are not able to report conversion to sale metrics to you, which is important to see the results of the MAP Fund projects.

2. Customize your local website and Facebook page with before and after photos.

To help your local website show up toward the top of the Google Search Engine Results Page (SERP), you need to optimize your local listings, organic SEO, and invest in Pay-Per-Click Advertising. The organic results on the SERP page will be in your favor if you place fresh custom content on your pages. 3. Utilize The Grounds Guys’ creative materials.

We have refreshed over 400 creative materials to have a modern and clean look and all are available to you now on Ad Depot – you can find this link on your FranConnect Single Sign-On Links. Taking the wonderful feedback gained from the survey you participated in in November, we were able to focus on what was most important to you this year with enhancements.

4. Attend everything you can!

This year is all about understanding The Grounds Guys’ systems and communication. In addition to the upcoming Regional Meetings, Technical Training Schools and Reunion, our team has Town Hall webinars hosted by President Michael Green; The Lay of the Land with the VP of Ops Webinar every month hosted by our Vice President of Operations Dianna Worthington; and Local Marketing webinars hosted by Local Marketing Specialist Rebecca Cantu.
