Another year has passed and along with Reunion, our weCARE tradition brings us all together. Once again, The Grounds Guys didn’t fail to represent the spirit of giving back. This month's article includes a few locations' events as a highlight:

Kenny and Paula Smith own The Grounds Guys of Spokane Valley and they share their love and got Neighborly/Neighbourly at RMHC House of Spokane.

Kenny and Paula have invested their hearts in weCARE Day since 2011. When they started, they would work all day and wouldn’t get to finish their fall clean-up at the house. The following year, they worked all day and finished the fall clean-up. The next year, the fall clean-up was done and they cooked a meal for the families. Now, they fly in like bees, whiz through a fall clean-up, do some pruning, clean gutters and cooked a potato bar and chili for the families and volunteers. They’ve gotten more efficient every year! They also got Neighborly and worked with Mr. Rooter on this year's project! Thank you Paula and Kenny for showing you CARE!

Travis Hicks and The Grounds Guys of League City team wanted to share their love all over the community, by posting to Facebook a “call out” to help families in the Southeast Houston area. After reviewing the nominations and evaluating the needs, they selected three families with different challenging stories to support for weCARE Day. The Grounds Guys of League City teamed up and donated labor and materials to clean up and refresh the three homes' yards and help with their needs. Showing you CARE can happen anywhere, small or large and directing your support wherever your heart takes you, is what its all about. Thank you The Grounds Guys of League City for showing you CARE!

Rachelle Kemp lead the Home Office's Operations team and other great helpers at Habitat for Humanity to create a raised garden bed. A beautiful day with lots of sunshine for the team to give back and do some training at the same time! Thank you for showing you CARE Home Office!

The RMHC Toronto House was lucky enough to have an army of love from The Grounds Guys Toronto, The Grounds Guys Collingwood, The Grounds Guys Ottawa West, Home Office team members and lots of friends and family. The grounds were all cleaned up by The Grounds Guys of Toronto and inside the house, a flurry of cooking took place, including salads, breads, chili, warm cinnamon buns and hot cider. Donations were delivered to each door of the house and hand-knitted slippers were provided to the parents and children. Thank you to everyone for showing you CARE!
